FAQs

Can I attend only the communications training or only the farm tour?
If you are a health professional interested in our training, we encourage you to sign up to attend both the communications training and the farm tour, but it is not required. Please attend either as your schedule allows. You are invited to bring a guest to the farm tour.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting from the training to the farm?

After the training, you'll need to provide your own transportation from the Holiday Inn to Conant's Riverside Farm. It's a quick 10 minute drive. If you have a guest meeting you at the farm, there will be space for them to park at the farm as well. Please plan for you and your guest to be at the farm promptly at 5:30.

What do I wear?

Please feel free to dress casually - jeans are fine. Protective covers will be provided for your shoes at the farm, but it is a good idea to wear flat, closed toe shoes. Because the event will go into the evening, you may want to bring a jacket or sweater.

What if it rains?
The farm tour will be rain or shine. There will be a tent for dinner, and cover from the rain during the tour inside the barns.

What can I bring to the farm tour?

All you need to bring is yourself and a friend! All food and beverages will be provided.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you and your guest do not have to bring your printed ticket. Please register for the training for yourself, and for the farm tour for yourself and your guest.

What is the menu for dinner?

Woodbelly Pizza will be providing delicious wood-fired pizza and salad. Woodbelly grows, harvests, and procures the highest quality local and organic ingredients. They make their dough from flour freshly milled in nearby Elmore, Vermont. Light appetizers will also be provided. Please contact JHussels@NewEnglandDairy.com if you have special requests or questions about the menu!
